Lamborghini Miura P400 #0862

Lamborghini Miura premiered at Geneva Motor Show in 1966. Although the chassis for the new model was already presented in Turin a year earlier, the works on the body (designed by Bertone) continued until just a few days before the show. When it turned out that the engine did not fit the body, it was decided to still display the car, but with the ballast instead. As a result, despite the pressure, the hood was kept all locked throughout the show. This example is the second of three prototypes built. As the first one (red, on display in Geneva) was destroyed, the following is the first built and still existing Miura.
