Porsche 356 Cabriolet

Type 356 was the first production automobile manufactured under the Porsche's brand. The first example, 356 Roadster, was registered exactly on 8 June 1948. Rear-engine, rear-wheel drive, lightweight and engineering innovations developed throughout the years determined its success in motorsport and overall sales. A total of 76 313 examples were built. 356 remained in production until 1965 when it was replaced by the 911. This year Porsche celebrates its 70th anniversary. A great reason to visit the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart!
